My first People’s SONA. Didn’t know the crowd estimate but it felt like May 1.
One of the things I learned today (quoted from a favorite teacher):
Napaka-unfair na pahapyaw mo lang sila popropahan, pa-sweep, tapos hihingin mo sa masa ang kaparehong level mo ng pagkilos.
Oo nga naman. Napakilos ako dahil sa Educational Discussion, hindi sa sweep na room-to-room.
One regret for today though. I didn’t get to hear Penoy’s version of the State of the Nation. No, not that, I can get that from the internet. I just wanted to see/hear/feel the people’s reactions (especially from Chaba. lels). We were in a discussion with a farm worker from Hacienda Luisita, and was oblivious that they were already streaming Penoy’s SONA. Nalaman ko nalang na yun na pala yun nang ang dami ko nang naririning na
“Tanga!”
“Sinungaling!”
“Bobo!”
“Imbento!”
So ayun. Sana may mag-post na ng videos! :)
I think I’m gonna post the manuscript of Penoy’s speech. Or rather the scriptwriter’s speech which Penoy delivered. With commentaries of course.
